Noor H. Salem is an author, speaker, and a certified holistic health coach from Michigan. After earning a Bachelor’s in Communications from the University of Michigan at the age of 20, Noor successfully received her certification as a holistic health coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, the world’s largest nutrition school.
Noor works with clients in better understanding their bodies and healing with natural foods through her wellness practice, Holistic Noortrition, and presents various workshops, school lectures, group coaching courses, and community lectures on the topic of holistic health.
Noor provides her clients with better alternative treats, and has recently been known for her organic cookies, brownies, jams and desserts made of pure ingredients while being free from the most common allergens.
Noor recently authored the popular book, “SUNNAH SUPERFOODS,” a culmination of life-changing recipes and remedies, with a foreword by Dr. Waleed Basyouni. Her book consists of prophetic hadith, modern research, and delicious recipes, and is in the process of being translated into other languages.
Noor gained experience as a youth adviser in her community since the age of 17, and worked as an organizer and counselor for several youth camps in Michigan, including AOF and the annual MMYC (Michigan Muslim Youth Council) conference. She serves as the current Ameerah of Qabeelah Ittihaad, Al-Maghrib Institute’s chapter of southeast Michigan, and works as a photographer and health columnist for The Muslim Observer Newspaper. Noor is currently pursuing a diploma from the Islamic Online University, and has been in the process of acquiring the Bachelor’s Program degree from Al-Maghrib Institute, completing various courses in the subjects of Qur’anic Sciences, ‘Aqeedah, and Hadith. Her most recent hobbies include photography, cooking, and poetry.
