MARIAM SAADA
Dr. Mariam Saada is a professor, researcher, translator, screenwriter, public speaker and a mother of three beautiful children. She was born in France and she speaks five languages (French, Arabic, English, Spanish and Portuguese). She earned her PhD from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in Spanish Linguistics from Hispanic Languages and Literatures Department. Her MA and BA are also in Spanish from California State University, Los Angeles. She has a passion for Spanish to the extend of dedicating her whole career to finding the connections between the Arab-Islamic and the Hispanic Culture and Civilization. She completed her post doctoral in Mexico from the University of California Riverside in 2016 examining traces of Arabic and Islam in 17 archives in the Mexican Republic. Since then, she dedicated herself to publishing her findings and creating a database for all the Islamic or Arabic documents found in Mexico and Latin America.
